PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. McFadden has been an affiliate
of Mill Creek Environmental Services, Inc. (MCES) since
August 1999 and a principal since February 2001. He
conducts projects including geophysical investigations,
aquifer analysis and development, subsurface contaminant
migration, aquifer remediation, fracture trace analysis,
and RCRA, CERCLA, HSRA and other regulatory compliance
programs.
Mr. McFadden is responsible for client
relations, regulatory interaction and project management
at MCES. Prior to joining MCES, Mr. McFadden was the
Vice President of Environmental Services for Applied
Engineering and Science, Inc and a principal with Hydrovision,
Inc. His responsibilities included all aspects of management
of environmental staff and business, and management
of environmentally-related projects for a primarily
industrial client base. His project experience includes
interaction with RCRA, CERCLA, HSRA, UST and other regulatory
programs and all aspects of site investigations, evaluations,
remediation, geology, hydrogeology, geophysics, regulatory
considerations, report preparation and quality control.
His managerial experience includes supervision, development,
and health and safety of technical staff, development
of project proposals and budgets, client development
and representation of clients to regulatory agencies.
Mr. McFadden was also an Associate Hydrogeologist for
the Groundwater Section of the Illinois State Geological
Survey in Champaign, Illinois for three years and a
Principal Hydrogeologist for the Georgia Geologic Survey
in Atlanta, Georgia for five years. He was responsible
for conducting long-term research projects and publishing
results; managing project staff and contract budgets,
writing project proposals, reviewing waste disposal
site reports for state and federal regulatory agencies.
PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITIES
Mr. McFadden has extensive experience
with quantitative aquifer evaluation including flow
and transport computer modeling, evaluation of groundwater
flow and contaminant transport in fractured rock and
multilayered aquifers, evaluation of aquifer potential,
zone of influence and well interaction studies, soil
and groundwater remediation. He also has extensive experience
with surface and borehole geophysical services including
electromagnetics, ground-penetrating radar, seismic,
VLF, downhole gamma, electrical, sonic and nuclear logging.
Mr. McFadden has applied his capabilities to Superfund
cleanup work, CERCLA and RCRA facilities and has had
extensive involvement in Georgia’s Hazardous Site
Response Program.
