PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
In May 2000, Mrs. Box joined Mill Creek
Environmental Services, Inc. (MCES) to work as a Project
Geologist. Her responsibilities with MCES include client
and project management, staff management, oversight
of field activities and sub-contractors, and business
development. Mrs. Box is responsible for all aspects
of project management including marketing clients, developing
project strategies, writing proposals, determining and
maintaining budgets, overseeing field activities, regulatory
interfacing and correspondence, report completion, and
project review. In addition, she is responsible for
managing the office and overseeing our accounting procedures.
Prior to joining MCES, Mrs. Box spent
10 years employed in the retail management field during
which time she was responsible for over 150 employees.
Mrs. Box was responsible for hiring, training, and managing
associates, inventory purchasing, maintaining million
dollar inventories and managing profit centers. She
was also responsible for establishing client relations,
recruitment of new associates, and increasing profitability
and payroll control.
PROFESSIONAL CAPABILITIES
Mrs. Box’s capabilities include
completion of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site
Assessments, Risk Hazard Analyses, completion and implementation
of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and Closures of underground
storage tank (UST) sites. During her employment with
MCES, Mrs. Box has experience in performing environmental
site assessments, conducting groundwater monitoring
and soil-sampling activities, installing monitoring
well networks, and design and implementation of aquifer
tests and bioremediation technologies. She has also
been involved in designing remediation systems to mitigate
petroleum hydrocarbons in soils and shallow and deep
aquifer systems. She is experienced in all aspects of
petroleum hydrocarbon issues including regulatory compliance,
subsurface investigations and remediation activities.
She has been the project manager on GEFA projects, managed
over 150 UST sites for the Department of Transportation,
Department of Natural Resources, Department of Defense,
Department of Public Safety, Georgia Forestry Commission,
Georgia Board of Regents, Georgia State Patrol and the
State of Georgia. In addition, Mrs. Box also manages
projects for private companies including overseeing
three Colonial Pipeline Facilities and one Roadway Express
facility.
